Our future house roaster, Upper Room Roasting, will soon bring ethically sourced organic coffee beans to life in small batches so you can experience coffee at its peak of freshness, integrity, and flavor.

Our Story

I’m Austin Wehling, founder of Consecrated Grounds.
This vision began with a simple idea — to set the table with excellence so people could encounter peace, joy, and genuine care.
The name Consecrated Grounds reflects our heart: every detail offered back to God in service to our city.

What started as a dream to own a coffee shop became a dream to serve God through coffee.
I was invited by Hill Country Church to open a small coffee bar in the foyer — serving espresso drinks and baked goods with love and intentionality.
Today, we’re open Monday–Thursday and Sunday mornings, serving God by creating an atmosphere where miracles, signs, and wonders happen — one cup at a time.

The future holds exciting growth as we prepare to begin roasting organic coffee beans in-house under Upper Room Roasting.

When our in-house roasting begins, we’ll roast in small, intentional batches to highlight each origin’s God-given nuances — florals, cocoa, stone fruit, citrus, and more.

Our Ingredients & Kitchen

We craft organic, in-house syrups (caramel, chocolate, vanilla, and seasonal varieties) and run a micro-bakery anchored by our signature cinnamon rolls.
Quality, organic ingredients, and transparent labeling are non-negotiable.

To maintain the highest quality, we currently operate on a pre-order + pickup model:
